What did you learn from the process you engaged in to create this music lesson? What did you learn from the actual presentation experience? So What is important for you to remember and learn? Now What are your next steps?
In preparing for our song this week I learned ALOT! I think the hardest part was finding a book to go with our ideas. Once we found the book the song actually came really easy! It was alot of fun to create. And I learned that music really helps us learn! We did a song about Utah, and now there are facts about Utah I will never forget.
I was so nervous for the presentation. I don't sing in public so getting up there and singing and teaching a song was scarey! But we went like third so I was able to see that not everyone was great singers but they got up there and that gave me the confidence to get up there too. When it was our turn, I thought we did good, looking at the process though I think with kids we would need to be more direct with what we wanted them to do.
I want to now make music apart of my class and even just part of my studing so I can remember better. And now I am not afraid to use music even though I am not the best singer.
